Our Classic and World Cinema Group meets to explore and discuss a wide range of films chosen by its members. Our Film Programme features titles available on major streaming platforms such as Amazon, Apple TV+, YouTube and BFI Player. Discussions are held fortnightly on Wednesdays at 4.00pm via Zoom. The Group is friendly and informal, with everyone encouraged to share their views. A second strand of the group meets in person about once a month to attend live screenings at venues such as The Garden Cinema in Covent Garden and the BFI on the Southbank, followed by discussion. Details of upcoming live film events are emailed to members in advance.
