Our Short Story Reading Group enjoys exploring a rich mix of short fiction from around the world. Each month we read five stories - about 70 to 80 pages in total which we find a manageable amount that leaves plenty of time for lively discussion. We’ve enjoyed collections such as A Glimpse of Truth edited by David Miller, Mythos by Stephen Fry and various British and African anthologies. The stories we choose span centuries and styles, offering new insights and perspectives in every meeting — always enjoyable, never onerous, and full of literary surprises.
