United by a shared concern for the plight of refugees, our Group focuses on supporting those who have fled war and persecution as they rebuild their lives in the UK. A key part of this work is helping participants improve their English through conversation and practical assistance with reading, speaking and form-filling. At the Centre, members can also join in group activities such as choir, dance and drama, or help with preparing and serving lunch. Professional staff are always present to guide and support both participants and volunteers in this rewarding work.
