This Group meets regularly to practise and improve spoken French in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Sessions provide an opportunity to converse informally on a wide range of topics chosen by members, such as travel, books, films, theatre, current affairs, and hobbies. The emphasis is on participation and enjoyment rather than perfection. It is not a taught course, and members share their knowledge and experience to help one another build confidence in speaking French. Everyone is encouraged to contribute, have fun with the language, and not worry too much about mistakes — they’re all part of the learning process!
