This Group meets to watch a range of German-language films, from timeless classics to more recent releases, in a member’s home. Each session is limited to ten participants, allowing plenty of opportunity for relaxed viewing and lively discussion afterwards. Conversations, held in either German or English, explore themes, performances, and cultural background, helping members to deepen both their understanding of the language and appreciation of German cinema. The group is aimed primarily at German speakers, although subtitles are sometimes available.
