Since it was formed in 2013, Islington u3a has offered thousands of activities to its members through a wide range of interest Groups and Events. These include over 150 Monthly Speaker Meetings and more than 500 walks organised by the Longer Walking Group. The rich and varied history of some of these activities have been documented over the years and forms a valuable archive.

In 2023, when we were ten years old, David Aaronovitch, who spoke at our first Monthly Speaker Meeting, was kind enough to also speak at our 132nd. And our Longer Walking Group made it into the papers in 2025 with their celebratory 500th walk.

Our record keeping hasn't been perfect but we do have an amount of archive material. Some of the Interest Groups kept annual registers of their activities. Some of the general administration activities have records, for example our AGM Annual Reports.
